We currently have one opening on our Governing Board. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in school governance and has a background in education, public service, or business management/finance, please send his/her resumé to Mrs. Gardner at [email protected].
Candidates will be expected to present themselves briefly at the next board meeting on February 15, 2018. Presentations should include candidate background and experience, reason for joining the Board, and the candidate's desired contribution to Summit.

Detectives notified school authorities this evening that the safety issue was determined to be unfounded. There is no cause for concern. Summit will continue safety practices to ensure a safe learning environment for students and faculty. This includes conducting our previously scheduled lockdown drill tomorrow, Wednesday.

Hello Summit Families,

In light of new information regarding today's lockdown at the high school, Summit Administration has decided to take a precautionary step and close both campuses tomorrow, Tuesday February 6th. We will reconvene the regular school schedule Wednesday February 7th. This day will be made up at the end of the school year.
