Hi wonderful students.

I am sorry to announce that the Spring Preview at CBU if full for March 21st. I will continue to inform you of upcoming events as I hear of them.

The "Get a Taste of Success" Business Plan Pitch Competition

 

 

Entries due Friday, April 8, 2016

 

The "Get a Taste of Success" Business Plan Pitch Competition is open to high school and community college students interested in developing entrepreneurial skills necessary to succeed in business.

 

How to Enter

 

Participants must register online at www.GetATasteOfSuccess.com and upload 

  • a two-minute Elevator Pitch Video 
  • a 10 slide PowerPoint Pitch describing their business idea

Entries must be submitted no later than April 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

 

The top team from each region in each division will be invited to go on to the statewide competition.

FIRST PLACE: 

$1,250 and a Business Video from Up and Running Video ($825 value)

 

SECOND PLACE: $750

 

THIRD PLACE: $500

Reminder and Update: Thanksgiving Dinner

Hi Everyone,
 
Upon discussion amongst your advisors, it has been decided that all 11th graders may attend the event/ eat for $2.50! If you plan on eating the food provided any time during the event, be sure to pay the $2.50 by Friday 11/13/15. Even if you are working! Breaks will be given to each person working 2 or more shifts and you may eat then.
 
Attire is black bottoms and white, button-up shirt with a  creative tie/bow tie for our in-class contest.
 
If you are setting up/cleaning up only, you may wear jeans and a shirt with close-toed shoes.
 
Here is the list of who is working which shift. It will also be sent home on Friday 11/13/15.
