  1. WS Career Selection - you must find an active job opening and record information for your Mock Career
  2. Use the sample cover letter passed out on last week's sub day to create a google doc and type up a cover letter addressed to your official mock career employer and explain why you are a good candidate to hire.  Follow the format from the sample
  3. Edit your resume draft to make all of the suggested corrections/improvements and then email me when your final draft resume is ready to be printed.
  4. Choose 5 of the job interview questions from the Worksheet given out on Wednesday and answer them in your notebook.  You will use these next week when you have your official mock job interview.  
  5. After all of these lessons have been made up, log back into iReady and complete the lesson and quiz waiting in your dashboard.  You will receive credit once you have passed that quiz with a 80% or higher.
FYI: Next week, after job interviews, your Unit 2 career slide show and class presentations, and notebooks will be due.

Today was an unexpected Sub Day!  The assigned review worksheets are attached.  Download and print them if you were absent and need to make up these assignments.  
 
Sub Day Protocol:
  1. All work needs to have work shown and is due to your substitute before dismissal
  2. Sub Day Participation Points are TRIPLE a regular day, which means 60 points.  You must work as a team to earn an excellent behavior note from your sub by sitting and working quietly with your learning groups for the entire period.  If your class wins best class of the day, those students will earn extra credit!
